My husband and I are thinking about going out on the Diamond Casino Boat this weekend, and I was wondering if anyone has been out on it and would share their experience. What did you think of it? How many blackjack tables, craps tables, 3 card poker tables were there? Is it crowded? We had thought about going to Biloxi, but Savannah is closer to home and this way we could visit with family and get a little gambling in too! I appreciate any info anyone may have! Thanks!
I have never been but I have some freinds who have and enjoyed it. Now from the road it looks like and old boat and kinda junky.
I havent been on it but St. Simons has a nice looking Casino boat. Its 45 minutes south of Savannah.
I ride by the boat twice daily and you could not pay me to board that old rusty thing.
I have seen pictures of the one in Brunswick and it looks nice - and I have an aunt who enjoys going regularly.
Went tonight and I couldn't believe it was the old Sun Cruz boat from Little River SC. If I knew that. we would't have went. Tried to sign up for a card and all we got was a genaric one that waives the 5 dollar fee next time we go (NOT). Never had luck on it and didn't tonight. The machines didn't even let you play. All they did was take and take. The food was horrible. The crab bisque was cream of chicken soup with a couple pieces of crab thrown in. The chix wings were very dry and the hambergers were gross. They did have a couple specials like the website said but glad we didn't waste the money. the band was very good on the 3rd deck. Drive the extra 45 mins south to the other casino boat. Trust me!
