The Rocks has some of the best vantage points to view the New Year's Eve fireworks and with a wide variety of fabulous food and drinks venuesranging from Sydney’s oldest pub to a number of restaurants and rooftop bars with spectacular views out over the harbour, you can make The Rocks your destination to ring in 2022.
The 2021 Sydney New Year’s Eve Fireworks will be managed by the City of Sydney and given the continuing health concerns related to the pandemic, will be required to meet the current Public Health Order at that time.
TICKETS
There are six Vantage points in The Rocks where you can celebrate this New Year's Eve.
This year, it's more important than ever to secure your Sydney New Year's Eve tickets as only those with tickets to vantage points in The Rocks or confirmed tickets to a restaurant, bar or hotel booking (and residents), will be able to enter The Rocks.
- Vantage Points are Campbell's Cove, East Circular Quay, West Circular Quay, Dawes Point Park, Wharf 2. Tickets will be $25 ticket price (adult) and $10 (child/concession)?
- An additional premium site will be at Hickson Rd Reserve. Tickets will be $50 (adult) and $25 (child/concession)
We encourage you to use your Dine and Discover Vouchers to purchase your tickets.
Portside New Year's Eve 2021
Experience Sydney s hottest NYE entertainment line-up, roving food to satisfy the senses and 5 hours of premium drinks under the sails of the Sydney Opera House at Portside Sydney.

COVID-safe and event information
The health, safety and wellbeing of everyone
- Patrons aged 16 years and over entering the building or attending the Opera House s bars and restaurants are required to be fully vaccinated unless lawfully exempt (under 16s not fully vaccinated must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult from their household);
- QR code check-in all patrons and their guests must continue to check-in using the Service NSW QR code;
- Face masks are required for patrons aged 12 years and over while inside our theatres and foyers, including during the event. We highly recommend children aged 11 years and younger wear a mask at all times; and
- As you move around the Opera House, practise physical distancing (1.5 metres whenever possible) and follow the guidance provided by our staff and signage.

Booking policy
Please note a 10% surcharge applies on Sundays. A 15% surcharge applies on all Public Holidays (one surcharge fee of 15% if Public Holiday falls on a Sunday). No surcharge applicable if dining on special festive menu on Christmas Day Public Holiday. An additional service fee of 10% applies to group bookings of 10 people or more (except on Christmas Day and New Year's Eve where 5% group booking surcharge applies at a'Mare and Woodcut and no surcharge applicable for all other Crown restaurants and bars).
