Is The theory of poker by David Sklansky still relevant or are there better books to get started by Poker theory?

Hello guys, I'm just starting to get into poker

and I'd like to do it the write way and understand the game instead of cluelessly hoping to get lucky. For what I've blinked at so far, the Theory of Poker seems to be the bible of Poker strategy, focusing on math and general ideas - which I like.

As it is 20 years old however, I wanted to make sure that it's still up to date. The math will check out now just like it did then, I would assume but I imagine thwy have been some other drastic changes in the last year regarding style or play and strategy.

So that's why I hope to get help from you with the simple question: Is The theory of Poker the best book to get started with strategy and analysis of the game, or are there better ones?
