Visit the Pergamonmuseum(Pergamon museum) and discover on 2000qm three impressive exhibitions and their extensive collections. The Pergamonmuseum houses three of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin’s most impressive collections: the Antikensammlung, the Vorderasiatisches Museum, and the Museum für Islamische Kunst.
The Ancient Orient: in the south wing of the Pergamon Museum
The collection comprises the 6000 year old history of the Near East with its culture and art. A highlight of this collection is the world-famous reconstruction of the magnificent buildings of Babylon. Here you can see the Ishtar Gate, the Processional Way and the throne hall facade of King Nebuchadnezzar II. Another highlight of this collection is the "Tower of Babel".
Islamic Cultures: in the south wing of the Pergamon Museum
The Museum of Islamic Art offers you a comprehensive art collection of Islamic peoples from the 8th to 19th centuries. One of the main themes of this exhibition is the Near East including Egypt and Iran. Almost all branches are represented by the fine arts - from art handcraft to book art. So you can experience pottery, metal works of Arabic-Persian calligraphy of the Mughal period and other works of handicraft at this time.
Antique Architecture: Experience significant antique architecture
The archaeological reconstruction of antique buildings gives you an insight into time. Highlights of Roman architecture include the Market Gate of Miletus and other architectural ensembles. The Museum of Islamic Art on the upper floor houses the richly decorated Mshatta facade of a Jordanian desert residence.
Information: The halls of the Hellenistic architecture and the Pergamon altar are currently being renovated.
Health and Safety Measures:
Visitors (age 6 and older) and all staff are obliged to wear a FFP2-mask and to maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 metres from other people. Plexiglas partitions protect all ticket, information and audio guide counters. For the time being no events will take place at the museums. Tour bookings and groups registrations cannot be accepted until further notice.
Visitors must follow a designated course through all exhibition spaces and should avoid forming groups inside the buildings. Signs in front of and inside the museums as well as social distance markers in the operational areas provide information about the health and safety measures to be observed. Visitors purchasing tickets on site and/or items in a museum shop are requested to use non-cash payment methods.

Please note that since 15.11.2021 the 2G regulation applies to tourist offers in indoor areas in Berlin. From 15.11.2021, access for visitors can only be permitted for fully vaccinated and recovered persons.A visit is only possible by wearing a medical or FFP2 mask. It is recommended to book a time slot ticket online.
The Time slot ticket for Pergamon Museum (Pergamonmuseum) allows entry to the museum for 15 minutes. Upon entry you are permitted to stay as long as you would like.
Children and young people under the age of 18 are admitted free of charge. Please note that tickets cannot be cancelled. Please note that, until further notice, visits are only possible with one valid time slot ticket per visitor.
All visitors from 6 years on are obliged to wear a FFP-2 mouth and nose cover, which should be brought along. Ticket sales start 5 days in advance and are likely to be booked out
quickly.
